What We Do

Our Focus

With a focus on prenatal care through age five, Hello Family is building on a child's early years when brain development is critical.

Through Hello Family, local partners hope to:

  • improve birth outcomes and early childhood health and development.
  • reduce avoidable emergency room visits.
  • reduce the incidences of child abuse and neglect.
  • increase school readiness.

Hello Family utilizes outcomes financing, which is enabling the government to align its spending with positive, measurable outcomes in communities. This way of funding services brings accountability and transparency to human services and focuses government and other stakeholders squarely on improving people’s lives.

Why start early?

80% of a child's brain develops in the first three years of life. That's why we focus on prenatal care through age five, to help children reach their full potential for school and life-long success.
